Frequently Asked Questions
  • What makes Sticky Spanish & English different from other programs?
It teaches Spanish and English simultaneously with instant translations. It also incorporates several teaching techniques to help all learning styles. Traditional dual language programs use print as their primary teaching tool. Many other programs use music only, and their translations (when given) are recited too late. This can discourage students in their learning process, causing them to quickly forget the meaning of words, and their associative meanings.

  • What type of learning style is best for my my child or student?
According to the Institute for Learning Styles Research 2003, there are seven different styles: 1- Print (likes to read books and take notes) 2. Aural (likes to listen and talk), 3. Interactive (prefers to discus things with others), 4. Visual (has a vivid imagination and prefers visual arts and media or they will get bored), 5. Haptic (loves the hands on approach and uses the sense of touch and grasp), 6. Kinesthetic (uses movement to help their concentration and learns by direct involvement) 7. Olfactory (learns best through their sense of smell and taste). This theory says that most of what we know and learn comes through our five senses. "Sticky"aims to use as many senses as possible in order to facilitate and reach all learning styles.
